Dear visitor, Welcome to the new Slovenian production portal (SPP). Before you read on rewiew the notices, terms and conditions ‘’Legal Notices and Terms of Use the SPP’’ concerning use of the SPP. By accessing, using or downloading any material from the SPP, you agree to follow and be bound by these notices, terms and conditions (the “Notices and the Terms”). As an independent web medium, the SPP is intended primarily for mechanical engineering and metalworking industries. However, it will be of interest and use also for visitors comming from electrical engineering, electrical industry and related branches.
The program-structure of the SPP covers all main segments of production, production infrastructure - which is similar to other production branches (logistics, energetics, maintenance etc.) - engineering and technical education. Because of this, the SPP is interesting for a broad rang of people involved in production in any way, representatives, consulting companies, support institutions (chambers of commerce, associations) etc.
As you will see, the SPP can be interesting for foreign visitors and companies too. It allows them to present products and services (and companies) to Slovenian business and technical people. Additionaly, the SPP enables establishing contacts with the potential business partners, searching for technical human resorces, advertising etc. When the segment Top products from Slovenia is intoduced, visiting the SPP will offer foreign visitors still more benefits.
The SPP can be particularly interesting for outsourcing. Slovenia offers (in many cases) favourable ratio between production costs and personnel quality. Because of this, many foreign (multinational) companies are already taking advantage of favourable production environment here. There are also many foreign producers tightly cooperating with the Slovenian companies (mold making, foundries etc.) and instituts. So, why your company shouldn't try to explore these possibilities too?
The international visitors searching the contacts with the business people from Croatia, Serbia ... will find the SPP interesting too. Namely, people from former Yugoslavia (pretty) understand Slovenian language so in the next period many of them will be visiting the SPP. Using the SPP you will be able to reach them.
Knowing this, you are invited to visit SPP frequently (at least now and then) to be informed about Slovenian products, services and business events which you could be interested in.
